T.H.I.V.S Turn Passion Into Actions

"I remember the sounds of the plain, the roar of the lion, the grunt of wildebeests, the screech of the owls, but most of all, the infectious laughter of the hyenas, many thanks". - Alan Seubers, Brussels, Belgium.

Mini Safari and Cultural Tour

Kenya is a jewel of vast wildlife, beaches, souring mountain peaks and diverse culture. Take a short safari to discover, explore and experience Kenya. The adventure gives one a perfect chance to relax, discover wildlife and sample local culture. One of the best expeditions is a camping safari to Maasai Mara game reserve hideaway for three days.

Maasai Mara National Game Reserve
This wildlife conservation area is located in Rift Valley region of Kenya bordering Tanzania border. It covers 1500 km² with vegetation of open grass plains covered by dispersed acacia woodlands and dense thickets of scrub. Luxuriant riverine forests lie along main rivers. The hilly south-eastern side is composed of dry forest, small acacia woodlands, dense scrubs and broken bushes. The north-western region is slightly denser, soaked by Mara River and it is composed of dense woodlands, bush-lands and one large swampy area. Animals to be found here include wildebeest, lion, elephant, rhino, leopard and buffalo. Others are antelope, gazelle, giraffe, hippopotamus, hyrax, bush pigs, warthog, zebra, aardwolf cat, wild dog, fox, genet, hyena, jackal, leopard, mongoose, bush baby, baboon, monkey, hare, aardvark and porcupines.

Maasai Mara is famous for great migration of 1.5 millions wildebeests moving from Serengeti to Maasai Mara plains in search of green pastures from July to October. The spectacular sight to enjoy and behold, is when herds of wildebeests desperate to reach lush grasslands start crossing the swollen Mara River, and being mauled by hungry giant crocodiles.
